The 6th Annual (2015) Agawam Cultural Council Writing Competition
was open to all school age children living in, or attending school in,
the Town of Agawam.
(PLEASE NOTE: the adult categories have been eliminated.)
Works had to be original to this year's competition; previously published poems or short stories from other contests could not be accepted.
Any category receiving five or fewer entries had no prize awarded in that category.
The competition ran from November 1, 2015 through December 15, 2015. Entries were accepted from November 1st through December 15th, only; entries postmarked after that date were not eligible for consideration.

The 2015 winners and their families, as well as local officials and the public, were invited to attend a special recognition event in March, 2016 at the Agawam Public Library.
Awards were distributed, refreshments served, and the authors and their works were warmly lauded.
